How to Use Coconut Mango Hair Butter

Start on clean hair
Starting with clean hair, divide hair into workable sections, spritz each section with water or apply a leave-in.
Scoop a dime size per section
A little goes a long way so apply a dime size amount to your palm. Rub your hands together to evenly spread the product then smooth it onto the section from roots to ends.

Work through in sections

Continue to work the product into the hair making sure to coat each strand. Twist or braid the hair to style.

Allow the hair to dry

Dry hair overnight or dry using a hooded dryer. Unravel hair and fluff as desired.

** You may add a few drops of our Nourishing Hair Oil to each section after using the Hair Butter and before twisting/braiding for an extra layer of moisture.

I tried Kinky Twist Hair Butter coconut mango for the first time. I have used several recommended products on my hair. I usually am disappointed with the products. They all claim great results with no flaking. And though I've used some and had great looking twist outs, they still leave flakes in my hair. That's what led me to Kinky Twist. I decided to switch from African Pride Coconut Leave in Conditioner (Causasian Swiss Owned) to Kinky Tresses Coconut Cream (AfroAmerican-Owned) and babyyyy...it was the BEST decision!! I am Dominican with 3c wavy hair that unfortunately, was permed without me knowing at Dominican salons (they would mix perm with hair conditioner and caused moderate alopecia). My daughter who is dominican and afro-portuguese-irish has 4c hair. We both suffer from extreme hair and scalp dryness. I have scalp psoriasis too which was very aggravated with the previous conditioner. This one felt like a cooling wind touching my scalp and my hair has never been healthier!
